Ilana Jacqueline Speaks at Kleine-Levin Syndrome Conference

The KLS (Kleine-Levin Syndrome) Foundation held it’s annual conference this past weekend and invited author, Ilana Jacqueline, to speak on one of the many topics in her new book, Surviving and Thriving with an Invisible Chronic Illness.

Her speech The Survival of Relationships Through Chronic Illness focused on how to contribute to relationships and friendships when your symptoms are life-limiting, how to deal with negative comments and disease stigma, as well as how to explain a complex disease to new people in your life.

Her speech was done virtually to the crowd of 300 patients and their families attending the San Francisco conference.
